The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Joins Tailwind Hospitality for Shreveport Regional Airport Openings
SHREVEPORT, Louisiana — The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has expanded into the US state of Louisiana for the first time. It has partnered concessionaire Tailwind Hospitality to open two venues at Shreveport Regional Airport, with another to follow later this year.
The global speciality coffee and tea house serves its handcrafted hot beverages at over 1,100 locations worldwide.
The brand is known for its use of high-quality Arabica coffee beans, individually roasted in small batches at a roasting facility in Camarillo, California.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Senior Manager of Franchise Development Michelle Reap commented: “We couldn’t be more excited to work with the Tailwind Hospitality team to open multiple locations at the Shreveport Airport. Their commitment to delivering high-quality service and understanding the needs of travellers aligns perfectly with our brand’s values.
“From the moment we met it was clear that their years of experience, thoughtful approach to operations and passion for our product made them the sophisticated operators we’re looking for as we actively seek multi-unit operators to grow The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf across North America.”
Tailwind Hospitality is now operating at 59 airports across the USA and has plans to open more The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf venues across its estate.
CEO Jeff Switzer said: “At Tailwind Hospitality, our top priority is providing travellers with an exceptional experience through high-quality products and outstanding customer service.
“With our long-standing relationship at Shreveport Regional Airport, we saw the perfect opportunity to expand our offerings and knew The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf would be a great addition to our portfolio.
“We understand what our guests are looking for and their demand for premium coffee and tea is clear, which is why we’re thrilled to join forces with such an iconic brand like The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.”
Shreveport Regional Airport is owned by the City of Shreveport and is located four miles south-west of its central business district.
