CVG airport set to add new sandwich restaurant to food court
HEBRON, Kentucky — A new restaurant is coming to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport’s food court in 2025.
Sandwich maker Jimmy John’s will replace the existing Chick-fil-A as it moves to the current Earl of Sandwich space, completing a reshuffling of the food court in Concourse B, which is mostly occupied by Delta Air Lines.
CVG’s board approved a contract with Tailwind Hospitality Inc., which will own the 1,174-square-foot Jimmy John’s and make a $1 million capital investment.
The lease term is 10 years, with rent being 12% to 14% of gross revenue, depending on sales and a minimum revenue guarantee of $140,000 per year.
Tailwind also operates the Sambazon Acai Bowls location in Concourse B.
“We have found them to be a very responsive and cooperative operator,” said CVG CEO Candace McGraw.
